Which movie ruined a good book?

It was written by a well-known author in our country for teens. The title is "His into Her," I just couldn't believe how dissatisfied so many people were to learn that the book had been adapted into a film at the time. Everything went awry, and it's as if the producers were responsible for the destruction of the author's magnificent work.

I really like the Percy Jackson series, it was a shame the movies weren't a good adaptation. The same thing happened with Narnia, it is another saga that I like and that they have not adapted correctly.

There are so many. But the one I liked least was Half a yellow sun. It did not capture anything the book said.

For me, it was the series The Mortal Instruments. The books were great, but when I started watching the tv series I had to stop .

I think Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children was a disappointing movie by Tim Burton. As a stand alone it was a good movie, however, it compresses three books into one. So much was cut out to make it work. I was annoyed that such an amazing story was torn to pieces to squash it into one film.

Well, I cannot blame them. The budget was probably too much. But I think the movie did no justice to the book at all.
