I wish to see how Justin and Manny gets connected. Guadalupe seems like an interesting character.

Thank you for the great review.

You really can't judge a book by its cover. I am pleasantly surprised reading about the suspense, the kidnappings, the deceit and mystery.

The review is wonderfully written although I doubt that this is my kind of book. It seems that the writer wants to add in everything possible.

Gilded Prisons is a unique book like its name resonate. It tells an emotional, mature and intriguing story of the story of a successful major league baseball athlete and his family. How things turned around for him after he was kidnapped. The tension and suspension is quite mind grabbing. It's is a worthy read, I must say.

I know practically nothing about baseball, so it's good that the actual game is not really a big element of the story, but the mystery and deception seem to make an intriguing drama with some political ramifications. Thank you for your great review!

While I enjoy suspense novels, the plot of this book doesn't seem to intriguing. Nonetheless, I'll still give this one a try since I enjoy mystery novels.

This book seems like quite the thriller. The fact that it is about baseball threw me off but I’m interested to take a look. Congratulations on book of the day!

Not sure I can pinpoint what kind of genre this book belongs to and it quite frustrated me, but at the same time didn't injured my pride, because I wasn't going to read it. Don't get me wrong, description promises action packed story, where something happens all the time, but unfortunately subject matter and settings are not along my personal tastes. Apologies and congrats on BOTD!

The mystery and suspense this reviewer feeds gives one no other option than to read this novel. The storyline looks interesting, what with sports and kidnapping people across countries.

The story seems intriguing since I don't see what would be a reason for the kidnapping of a baseball player. It is also interesting that the story is told from different points of view depending on the character. Another positive aspect of this book is that it transmits helpful life lessons.

I do enjoy mystery novels but I'm not into baseball, and based on the blurb, it doesn't seem like something I'd read. Manny's character looks interesting, but I'll be skipping this one. Thank you for the detailed review!

Putting the baseball aspect aside as I am not a fan, this book sounds like it is far more than that! Kidnapping, crime, a love triangle, and deceit makes for a very interesting read! I will check this one out! Thank you for the excellent review!
