There are 5 books in the series~
1. Outback
2. Outback Station
3. Walkabout
4. Wallaby Track
5. Outback Legacy
I just learned of them today and I think they sound fabulous and can't wait to get to them!

Also Night In Eden,September Moon, and Whispers of Heaven by Candice Proctor, which are set in Australia and Tasmania.

Wonderful stories! I may be a tad biased. They're about Australia's colonial era, written over 20 years ago by a reclusive author. Can you shed any light on the man?

Oddly enough I think Candice Proctor is an American. I can recommend a similar author, Di Morrissey, who has written some beautifully reminiscent and contemporary Australian novels.

Yes, I think it will be fascinating to read about the colonization of Australia, even a fictionalized account. No, I don't know a thing about the author except that he has written 23 books according to GoodReads.

It is historical fiction about the settling of Australia by the convicts that England sent there, and how the Garrity family, despite all the hardships, created one of the largest sheep stations in the country.
