In contrast to you I would have a hard time picking up this book. That is in spite of the rather useful lessons about controlling what we can and letting go of hatred; I really like those.

I am not much into sports. But reading about Justin getting kidnapped, it made me curious about what happens to him. So I would like to read the book. Thank you for the great review.

This book sounds thrilling and full of mystery. I’m curious as to why Guadalupe has kidnapped Justin and how he and his wife will handle the trauma if/when they’re reunited. Not typically my kind of book, but it could be interesting and suspenseful as well as emotional. Thank you for the helpful review.

An fast-paced novel that involves politics and mystery sounds intriguing. An elite Cuban woman, who is set to be the country’s first lady, is believed to be a primary suspect to an abduction. This seems intriguing. Congrats on botd!

A suspenseful geopolitical drama-based story in the book "Gilded Prisons" by Linda Gould, which focuses on two baseball stars, who were abducted by Guadalupe, a candidate to become Cuban first lady. I feel the story is very thrilling to read.

I'm more interested in the political aspects of the book, so I'm glad it's not focused on mainly describing baseball. What will happen to Justin? Will he return to his family safe and sound? I'm ready for some suspense and mystery. Thanks for a great review!

Gilded Prisons by Linda Gould is an action packed and fast paced novel involving the baseball players. Don't be fooled, the story is not about baseball itself. Alot of characters are kidnapped. But, is it for political or personal reasons?

I find this book very intriguing. Why is Justin Moore kidnapped? Who is Guadalupe and why was she not condemned the first time that she kidnapped Manny? There are so many mysteries and I would like to unravel it. I am a sports fan and I would love to read a story about the players without having to indulge a lot about the sport itself.Congrats BOTD!

I enjoy reading some drama, but I'll have to skip this book because of the sexual content. The story itself is thrilling, especially when it involves kidnapping. I wonder how it relates to the political aspect of the book. Congratulations on the BOTD.
