The book is rooted in Catholicism, duty and friendship. It involves a connection of three Priests. Two dead and one alive; Fr. Richard who is attending the wake of Fr. Anthony and reminisces about late Fr Paul. Through his brief talk with John Dally, the nephew of the dead Priest, he decides to offer spiritual help, and a few life lessons to him, and to allow him learn more about his uncle by introducing him to his late uncles friend and confidant Matt.
The book is touching with a twist on crime. A must read with lessons to learn.

Definitely not my cup of tea, I knew I will avoid reading it once review made it clear just how closely the story is related to religion. Not something I enjoy to read about or even understand. Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!

the fact that the story is based on faith without offending other faiths is so amazing and genius

"Always Before Me" by John Servant. An interesting book, bringing out the Catholic ways. Talks about Father Anthony who died of lung cancer and having rumors of him molesting a young girl. Congrats on BOTD.

As long as a book is interesting, religious or not, I will read it and this seems to fall in that category. I would love to find out why both Paul and Anthony died in prison. The review is so well laid out that I can't wait to read the book.

I like the review for its briefness. It was very precise, snappy, and able to pass some vital message to me, which was about what should be said about one when one is no more. There was suspense in the write up which made me curious about about reading the main book. Thanks for the good work irrespective of the religion on which it was centred.

I like how the author pointed out that the story focused on building both the faith as well as the plot, and that it doesn't offend other faiths and. . Thanks for the review.

The book seems to be really insightful about religious and catholic practices and this makes me interested in it as I'd really like to know more about these things. Also, I think it is commendable how John easily exposed the christian faith and religion without disrespecting other beliefs and faiths.

I am a little jaded when it comes to Catholicism due to personal situations. Therefore, I do not believe I would enjoy this book in its entirety. Good review despite my passing.
