I love the writer's freedom. Even though he raised an urgent issue that should be solved for human well being, The writer seems to miss the cause. He gave all accusations for Men, and oversimplifies the solution. It was better to show some other options other than sister hood.

The premise of the story’s theme is that humanity’s problems today stems from our inability to live each of life’s moments to the full. Considering that there are other more popular ideologies today and yet the author chose to propagate one so obscure is commendable. That he now went further to flesh this unpopular ideology into a fantastic 225-paged plot is even more commendable.
Congrats for the BOTD

This book sounds very interesting. I agree with some points and disagree with others, so this book inspires much discourse.

Human nature is a much studied subject with different thoughts and philosophies. While it's not safe to make generalisations about human nature, I still feel the author has salient points which should not be overlooked. That said, this would make a great read and I'd like to read it. Thanks for your review

This self-help book addresses thoughtful topics. I find interesting the affirmation that we are spiritually slaves to the force of laws and institutions. Also interesting is the statement that the development of civilization has proven to be detrimental to the mental and spiritual health of modern man. I don't think a loving revolution is going to happen either, but ... who knows.

I got the chance to read this book before, and I say that I did not like any part of it. The author kept questioning the things that makes us function and thrive today, like technology, in such a fanciful manner that I did not understand most things. Thank you for your review, however.

The criteria of not owning your time speak volume about you being a slave to civilization. Your view notwithstanding, there are lots of problem as a result of civilization. I think I'm gonna read this book. Thanks for your review.

Certainly, the ideas of the author are praiseworthy in their endeavor, but, the author is firstly too fanciful in what he hopes for the world. Secondly, the author needs to move away from some clear bias in his belief. When writing a book such as this that tries to explain humam nature, it's important to isolate any subjective thinking. I think the review did a good job in illustrating the pros and cons of this book.

Rediscovering the wisdom of human nature is a very Ideal book that appeals to the mind's of thinkers and scholars in various fields of study.
It reminds me of the late Bob Marley's music," Mental slavery".
The Author is right to say that civilized people are imprisoned by force of laws and institutions,It made lots of sense.
The Author stance on married women was valued.

"People are enslaved by individualism and by problems that only exist because we Westerners place so much importance on the future that we end up forgetting to live in the present" I find this statement to be profoundly true and interesting, I also think it sums up the whole ideals of this book. Thanks for the review.

I have always wanted to read a book that crudely addresses many topics around the so-called civilization; I finally have the chance. Thanks for the great review.

Generalized terminology is something I avoid. Everybody has free will and is unique in how they see the world. What the author deems as a problem may not be a problem for someone else. Good review.

A Review well written. I am obsessed with self-help books as this book would not be an exception. The writer seems to have made discoveries and therefore laid down certain principles and I would love to know why.
I am getting this book ASAP!
Congratulations on your BOTD.
