Autumn has come to town, and Mister Pushkin isn't too happy about it. The wind tousles his magnificent bluish fur, and the pavement chills his paws. But even though Mister Pushkin detests this frigid weather, Klem, his owner, continues to drag him into it. One morning, happy to be inside for once, Mister Pushkin is sleeping peacefully. But the noisy garbage truck suddenly interrupts his tranquil slumber. Looking out the window, Mister Pushkin notices Ms. Dolores, their neighbor. And to his horror, Mister Pushkin realizes she is up to no good.

Days after the catastrophe caused by Ms. Dolores, Mister Pushkin thinks he can finally relax. But, as usual, Klem has other plans. Klem can never pass up the chance to show off how luxurious Mister Pushkin is. So, when the Autumn Cat Show is back in town, Klem doesn't hesitate to sign Mister Pushkin up. But Mister Pushkin detests these competitions, and he plans to show just how much. What disaster did Ms. Dolores cause? Will Mister Pushkin win the contest? And what other adventures will Klem force upon him?

Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf by AC Michael is a children's novel brimming with adventure. Throughout the story, Mister Pushkin endures Autumn and the outlandish ideas Klem forces upon him.

I enjoyed reading this book. Mister Pushkin has such a distinct personality that he makes me forget he is a cat. Whenever he comes across something he dislikes, he never shies away from voicing so. I also enjoyed the humorous aspect of this book. There were many times that Klem made me giggle.

I would recommend this book to readers who love animals and amusing adventures. Although this is a children's book, any reader looking for a lighthearted tale can enjoy it.

One positive aspect for me about this book was the detailing. The vivid descriptions made it easy to feel like I was living the story myself. I also liked the bond between Klem and Mister Pushkin. Even though Klem would get frustrated with Mister Pushkin, his love was unmistakable. I have no negative viewpoints about this novel.

I give Mister Pushkin Turns Over A New Leaf 4 out of 4 stars. I gave this rating because the story was intriguing, and the characters were heartwarming. I found no errors during my read.
