A fantasy and coming of age novel. The main character, Piper, stands out. It seems that her evolution in terms of the development of her powers is striking. A good choice for fantasy lovers.

It seems that the author develops a new imaginative world very efficiently in the book. But, I am not a massive fan of sci-fi books. So, I am going to pass this one. Thanks for this informative review.

This fantasy book seems quite interesting. It is about an orphaned young girl growing up with responsibilities including taking care of her young brother. She discovers that she can manage to control many things happening in her life. That is because she is forced to grow up quickly and be independent. It is a good read for mainly teenagers but pretty much everyone. One can learn a lot from the story of this young girl who suffers heartbreak but must snap out of it rather quickly.

I like the fact that the book starts with a sad or low pace then extents to thrilling and adventurous scenes. The story line is also woven so good and in an interesting manner. I wonder if those are super powers Piper developers. Great work here.

An amazing fantasy coming-of-age novel "Prophase: A Present Tale" by Mitchel Street, which follows Piper, who gets magical powers to see auras and modify circumstances to prevent mishaps. This story should be entertaining to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

It sounds like the author did a great job at creating an interesting magic system and a relatable protagonist. It also sounds like the author does a good job at addressing difficult issues such as losing parents at a young age and alcoholism. Thank you for your review!

I happen to like young adult fantasy stories. They often tackle themes like finding one's strengths and abilities, appreciating inner beauty versus outer appearance, and following one's unique path. I was intrigued by the very beginning of the story when Piper was born. Her mother knew Piper would have an unusual life with a vital purpose. Perhaps there could be a prequel to this story, too.

Lennon's review is very good and asks the kind of questions that create interest in this book.
