A fascinating read for me. Even though I don't like historical fiction much, I'm very much attracted to this book. The wives were just plain evil and their husbands were ignorant of their capabilities. Thanks for the wonderful review.

A book about crimes is not usually my thing, but this one sounds interesting. I am curious about the wives' background and what led them to murder their husbands. Congrats on BOTD!

because of money human beings are able to kill the dearest beings. This is the case of these women who plot to kill their own husbands in order to benefit from the money that the insurance companies will pay

When I first heard about the story of these wives, I thought it was just a hoax, but now I am so intrigued knowing it was reality. Though their acts were inhuman, the creativity in their actions is just unbelievable...thank you for this review.

Interesting and quite intriguing crime thriller. I really like how the plot is build and conspiracy involving tailor is very original in my opinion. I would most definitely like to know the story will play out in the end! Thanks for BBC recommendation and congrats on the BOTD!

A recorded fiction novel considering a run of the mill story sounds enthralling. Housewives clearly select the nearby originator to kill their partners to get the requested money. How astonishing. Those assistants are nauseating! What's more to think it depends upon a reliable story. It is astonishing that each set of experiences is depicted absolutely, that the characters are particularly drawn, and the speed is quick. That the creator portrayed the region is another honor, a responsibility of appreciation is for the outline.

A villainous tailor convinces his lovers to kill their husbands for the insurance money! The title should be The Wicked Tailor. I can't wait to see how this story is sewn together.

The author skillfully maneuvers between the individual lives of each woman, while bringing them together into one picture. Through it he manages to show the reader the decline in thinking of the individual person and society as a whole, also and the lack of conscience to achieve the ultimate goal - money. An exceptional and fascinating novel that takes you far away, so you can read it in one breath. :techie-studyingbrown:

I like that the story is set in the late 1930's because it's a time epoch that I love so much. The author made an effort to create a strong and convincing background for each of the conspiratorial housewives. Although there are more characters than usual, Gus Pelagatti skillfully fitted them all into an interesting story.

Having to read from each character's point of view to understand their motives sound intriguing. I’d like to see why each woman did it.

This one is going to be an exciting read full of betrayals, shocks and surprises, intrigue, and drama. And, I'm curious about that final twist that caught Tom unawares.

Based on your amazing review I feel this book although being a historical fiction book, still got a C/T/M/H touch and am anticipating to dive in.
