Doggish adventures in foreign places are my very favorite kind of canine activity! Pups make accumulated travel memories truly priceless!Kirsi_78 wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022, 15:58 This sounds like a lovely (and lively!) memoir. Dogs are man’s best friends and vacations are the best times of our livesthese two combined should make an enjoyable read! I am looking forward to some doggish adventures in foreign places!
I hope they take your advice and do one more round of editing, though. Thanks for the lovely review!

Thank you! And yes, pet-friendly accommodations would certainly provide many more avenues of family-friendly inclusion. I’ve honestly never traveled with myJosephe-Anne wrote: ↑20 Jan 2022, 06:58 I have 2 dogs at home, but I have never travelled with them. It would be interesting to find out which establishments have pet-friendly accommodations. So, I think I would like this book.
Thank you for another excellent review, AvidBibliophile.

dog either, she likes a dependable routine (with lots of naps) and is fairly set in her ways, but I’m sure many dogs would love it!

You make a great point! This one has a lot to offer, even from just a geographical perspective. Books definitely possess the power to take us places!

Nothing beats loyalty that requires just a source of unconditional love in return. So glad you agree!

I, too, have a dog and love all things canine! This memoir definitely captured the personalities and spirits of two cute pups that this author was proud to share with the world.

The majority of memoirs do include truths that simply represent the reality of the harsh world we all live in. Most children these days have sadly already heard and been consistently exposed to far worse than anything this book hints at. Mentions of one specific phrase of mild profanity and a historical reference to women who were punished for alleged witchcraft are the only potential areas of forewarning that need to be preemptively made with this one. Pet stories have so many sweet and meaningful and heartwarming moments! They definitely remind me how much I love and treasure my own darling dog.Pauline Parnell wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 04:32 I am not sure if I agree that a few scattered words of profanity and a mentioned word of torture will not make a difference on the psyche of a 12-year-old. What an odd thing to say! Pet stories are good on a whole. Thanks for your review.
