This book is right up my alley. It has every element in regards to a fantasy and mythical novel. I love the characters and the unique depth that the story carries. This book is the next great hit in the fantasy genre.

This isn't my favorite genre, but it certainly sounds that folks who enjoy urban fantasy will find this one enjoyable. Congrats to the author on the beginning of his saga!

What caught my attention at first is the book cover. I can feel the magic from the review, life is full of choices, Whether good or evil is left for us to determine that. Congratulations on BOTD.

Jacnthabox, thanks for this superlative review! Your own writing style shines through. You ought to be a writer yourself. I like that in your review, you not only give enough meat for potential readers to chew on, without spoilers, but you also cleverly give a list of recommended reading for any who decide they share your enthusiasm for the book and would like more of the same while they also wait for this author's next serve. Bravo, well done!

I feel like this book has a lot of historical touch with lots of entertainment. I can’t help but wonder if Conor is like a supernatural being or just a boy with some powers, that’s if he has real powers. A lot of questions in my head that I can only find answers to in the book.

From the review, it simply appears that the author has been able to create a fantasy epic of a sort. I am further impressed by the fact that this is his debut. I like the review.
