This looks like a unique story line with the author digging deep into the mental state of an individual suffering from depression and bipolar. While it looks intriguing, I believe I'll pass on this one as the plot seems a bit too depressing for me. Excellent review though and I congratulate the author on BOTD!

After reading your summary and the sample, it sounds like it is a great thriller and suspense novel. I wonder if Bruno's family ties will make him regress from the progress he made for himself, especially since this opportunity was a success because they made sure his previous criminal records were non-existent. I would add this novel to my wish list.

Mental health is vital and there is a lot of depression in society. I am glad that the character didn't choose suicide but tried his best to make it in life

Depression and mental health is a a controversial and most-talked about topic in the contemporary society, as organizations and individuals alike advocate to put their two cents on this disease that is affecting more people than we can count. Danny Range, a quintessential inspirational figure who seems like he has it all figured out, takes us on a ride to the dark side of his world where we witness his own struggles with depression. The fact that this book is based on the true story of the author adds to the authenticity of the issues described, and readers going through similar suicidal thoughts and struggles can easily relate to the author and get inspired by his story. I also love the character development and differentiation that the author has employed as he gives each character depth, complexity and individuality. This book explores the dark untold side of the author's life as he bravely reveals his vulnerability to depression, so as to inspire those looking up to him.

I have read this book, and I also gave it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. There was nothing I disliked about it. I enjoyed the quotes used in this book and the various elements of humor contained in it. It was an entertaining read, and I agree that the author did a fantastic job on the character development of Bruno. Well done on this review!

I can imagine that living in a family like Bruno’s would cause anyone to struggle with mental health issues, and it’s interesting to see Bruno struggle with them in his life after leaving the crime family ways behind. This book sounds as though it’s a good mix of the realistically psychological and the thrilling. Thank you for the helpful review.

While I can't relate to the protagonist's life, his perseverance for a change of character is noteworthy. This is a thrilling novel about a man who's facing the demons of his past as he moves on to the future. Will he succeed in becoming a better version of himself? Congratulations on the BOTD.
