Although this book sounds like it could be interesting, given that the historic facts are accurate, I’m not really into World War II settings for novels right now. Characters like an expert document forger seem compelling, but I’ve felt a little overwhelmed by all of the WWII material around lately. Still, thank you for the helpful review.

The more places you'll go.

This is a historical book that sees the characters work together to try to protect Britain from the Nazis. I love how dynamic the characters are: a counterfeiter, medics and prisoners of war.

The lead characters, though handicapped by limited resources, set out to undermine Hitler's government from within. Will they succeed? This fast-paced book is the second installment in a series and can be read as a standalone.

I'm not a fan of historical fiction but this piqued my interest. I commend the few and well-developed characters, an author's ability to connect the characters adds to the overall enjoyment of a book. Nice job.

Yes, this book has a lot going for it: not too many characters, and those roundly defined, an intriguing background of war/historical fiction, and it is fast-paced and engaging. It is a stand-alone although it is part of a series. This is always a plus point: if you love it, you can read the others.
Another detail that pleased me: this is the second review after the re-editing of the book. So, inevitably improved with fewer tiresome typos to jar the narrative flow. I also like the title. I will put it on my list.

The storyline of people's lives crossing because they share a common goal--stemming the tide of Nazi advancement--interests me. I read the first book in the series and now I want to read this one. Thanks for your great review!

P.S. Kudos to the author for making corrections to improve his book!
