Are you struggling with understanding who you are, your purpose on Earth, and what God expects from you? Have you been experiencing several difficulties in life and do not understand the reasons for them? Freddie Floyd Jr. strongly believes that you have been going about things in the wrong way. In a world where a lot of people have put their faith in man and turned their backs on God, it will always be difficult to know who we truly are and navigate through the tough journey that is life. Therefore, The author's book, You Are Designed to Be Successful, is presented to us with one goal in mind: channeling our focus back on God, "the author and finisher of our faith."

Comprising six concise and straight-to-the-point chapters, ranging from "Knowing God" and "Faith" to understanding that "We Are Here To Give," You Are Designed to Be Successful was an inspirational read and a good reminder of certain things that I have overlooked in life. The author does not include personal stories while passing his message but heavily employs Bible scriptures at every turn in a way that not only makes his message clear but also brings readers closer to God.

I connected with the author's confident tone, as he always sounded certain about God and what He can do for readers if they submit to Him wholeheartedly. Also, a lot of effort was put into presenting the lessons in their simplest form, with comparisons revolving around weight loss and getting to know God and planting seeds and faith among my favorites. Freddie Floyd Jr. also explores a few thought-provoking aspects of life, including money and the responsibilities and dangers that come with it and avoiding blaming people for our choices like Adam did after eating the forbidden fruit.

However, while I found the contents of the book helpful, it does not necessarily explore anything groundbreaking. The advice dished here was significant but came across as just reminders to me and not new lessons. This was my only issue with the book.

Overall, I enjoyed reading You Are Designed to Be Successful. It also seemed like a professionally edited book, as I found six errors that didn't affect my reading flow too much while reading. I rate this book four out of four stars. I mentioned an issue above, but the book fulfills its goal of putting readers' focus back on God, especially when they have turned their backs on him. I would recommend this book to people who want to improve their faith and relationship with God and find their purpose in life through God.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you (Matt. 6:33)." - Page 37.

I think that this book seems to have some really good points. I have heard these suggestions ever since I was a small child. As the reviewer says, though, I think that for me this would all be mere reminder.

I believe this book would have points which would either strongly remind a person of things he already has knowledge of, as the reviewer said or add to the knowledge of someone else who is ignorant of these things. Thanks for the review!

Ah. Thank you for clarifying that this is actually a book written from a religious perspective, else I might have read it. Lovely review.

Religious talks can vary from alot more than just 1 perspective however all perspectives agree on the tone and the message behind this book on what actually god is expecting from us as humans and us having faith in every step we achieve as humans, This book seems glorious with lots of points as the reviewer shows them out.I think the people more interested in religion talks would enjoy this book.Thank you for your recommendation and great details in showing this book off.

From the sample and review, it is clear that the author is writing from a Biblical understanding and a deep relationship with God. However, I believe most people, at some time in their lives, need a reinforcement or encouragement and the tips in this book are still applicable.

I am so confused by content of this book that I don't even know where to start explaining myself. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with how review described it. Perhaps, part of the reason is that I am not religious person and Christian literature is beyond my understanding as it is or I am just amazed how some people are able to bring everything to God. Apologies and still congrats!

I am not a fan of self-help or motivational books. I cannot say if we would feel better if we trusted more in God, as I have seen and experienced that faith does not give people a sense of purpose, maybe, according to Freddie Floyd Jr. that is because they do not have a strong faith...

I cannot respect an author that quotes constantly the Bible to pass his message as quoting and talking about the Bible without the proper context or knowledge can lead to extremism, confusion, and fear. I studied theology for a couple of years, while in university and I have also been educated my whole life by Catholic institutions, so I know the dangers of quoting and manipulating the Bible, as it cannot and should not be read just literary, we need, as readers, to know the hidden message, the context and everything else.

God is important and He takes a huge part of a lot of people's lives (including mine) but I believe that is unfair to blame it all (good or bad) on God, even if we "submit to Him wholeheartedly" life will not always end the way we wanted and even if we know that God has a plan, we will have feelings, we are humans, is inevitable.

The review and summary were very informative. It sounds like an inspiring self-help novel through biblical terms. I am not a fan of religious theme novels, but it was a great review and congrats on being the BOTD!

I love this book and this review. The christian journey isn't an easy one, that's why I always appreciate those that have experienced God and write books like this to help those that are still coming up. Many haven't realized God's plan for them. I appreciate this author. Great review

The book cover illustrates well the peace we get when we trust the Almighty. The light at the horizon gives the individual peace and hope. However, Floyd Jr in this book focuses on the christian world but still if other religions read it bearing in mind their believer then they will understand it. That majority have believed in man and the power of money to control their lives but they still have hope to reclaim their faith and change their destiny.

I'm very glad this book was beneficial to your personal development. However, I've always found it easier to connect with personal anecdotes than with quotes, even if they're from the Bible.
Thank you for your honest review.
