Yes, that is quite a title. :D I finally noticed the author's clever approach, matching Ophelia with her adversary:
Ophelia Clementine Delarose has
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

The length of the read is perfect, and it captures a great range of scenarios.

Yes, I was also pleased that the author chose to educate children on this disorder. It will benefit adult readers too.

A children's book trying to discuss about a complex issue such as OCD? That's quite an interesting approach! Plus the illustrations that you've mentioned are the cherry on the cake! I would love to try this book. Thanks for this beautiful review.

I am thrilled that this author is addressing this issue in a children's book. It is just the right of information, and readers young and old will learn something. There was one scene that was so eye opening that I just had to stop for a moment and process what was just shared.

I do hope you have the chance to read this book. Thank you for your comment, jimmy02.

Thanks for your informative review. There are many types of OCD, but it seems Ophelia's is quite a troublesome one.

It is troublesome for Ophelia, but she is a determined overcomer.

This is probably a very helpful book for teachers, but also for everyone who wants to understand people with OCD better. Ophelia sounds like one strong little girl!

Ophelia is one tough cookie indeed! She is a great example of perseverance, and this book is a marvelous window into some of the thoughts behind this disorder.

I had no idea what Obsessive Compulsive Disorder means. This book has educated me on that. This will be helpful to kids and adults expecting such a problem. Thanks for the educative review.

It was a good book as it gave me a glimpse as to the wayward thinking some kids go through. Nice review.
