I'm not an avid reader of memoirs since I've found that they really don't fit my circle of interests so I think that I will pass on reading this one. I'm glad that based on your review you enjoyed this book.

It’s encouraging to find the author discovered peace after losing her mother. Having been through a similar trial losing my mom to breast cancer as well, this book sounds healing.

As someone who has had his fair share of loss and grief, reading Butterfly Awakens has really been uplifting. Meg has been able to use this book to connect with me, and that is what I love about any book. The review really captures that well...........well done.

The fact that I can relate to this book at this time in my life is enough reason to read it. I just hope I find enough to get me through. Meg looks like a strong character, watching your mother battle breast cancer and eventually die has to be one of the hardest things in life.

The author's story of transformation and the struggles she had to go through this few fears is unbearable, but it also reveals great inspiration for readers. Great review.

I lost my mom almost six years ago. My memories of her still make me shed tears every now and then. Perhaps grieving for those we lose never really ends, but as a Christian, I am filled with the hope of eternal reunion with them.

The healing process after loosing a loved can be very slow and difficulty especially when there no one to talk to or comfort you. I find this book to be very helpful to anyone who is grieving. Thank you so much for the review.

It's one thing to go through grief and stay strong and another thing to be transformed through it. This book would be both insightful and a useful tool to help people young through such. Thanks for your review.

Oh My God! I feel her fear, sadness, pain and grief as I read each word in the book. I have never experienced loosing a parent and I hope not to anytime soon. I don't think I'll ever be prepared. From caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly....it is indeed the transition that matters! This is a book for those who are dealing with loss. Kudos to the Author!

Thank you so much for this review. As someone who has lost both parents, most recently my mother, I can relate to Meg and have been looking for ways to get through my grief. I will add this to my bookshelf to read in hopes that it will help and inspire me the way it has with others.
