The fact that we have all faced different kinds of fears highlights how relatable Evie Florence's Taming my Worry Monster, Wallace: A Story of Bravery and Overcoming your Fears (The Adventures of Levi and Luna) is. I must applaud the author for finding a unique way of not just encouraging bravery but also facilitating having fun while facing our fears.

Taming my Worry Monster, Wallace: A Story of Bravery and Overcoming your Fears (The Adventures of Levi and Luna) is a children's book that follows two siblings, Levi and Luna. Levi was always afraid to sleep in his own bed at night, as he was being hunted by his "Worry Monster." However, following advice from his mother and his "Grand Granny," Levi is motivated to face his fears and journey into the deep green forest to get the magic emerald to subdue this monster. He will not embark on this adventure alone, though, as his sister, Luna, is always by his side. Will they be successful in this quest of utmost importance?

Evie Florence has done a fantastic job in the execution of this story and the message she hopes to pass across to children. The element of adventure infused into the story while the main characters hunt for the emerald made the story even more engaging and suspenseful, and I loved every moment of it. The author favors taking the time to describe not just the characters' feelings at each point but also the world that she has created, especially the forest where they would encounter obstacles.

While the author employs eye-catching illustrations to adequately bring the story to life, her descriptive writing is noteworthy. Also noteworthy is the author's ability to utilize rhyming words in her delivery, which made the story even more fun to read.

I did not find any errors while reading the book; therefore, it was thoroughly edited. The only aspect of the book that could have been better was its wordy nature. The vivid pictures in the story achieve a lot in properly narrating the story, so fewer words could have been used. Nevertheless, this did not detract from my reading too much. Therefore, I rate this book four out of four stars. Children who enjoy adventure stories will have fun reading this book.

I love the idea of a worry monster. It must make it so much easier for kids to understand their emotions! I think it's so important to talk to our kids about these topics.
