This book is ancient historical fiction set in Rome. A young ambitious man named Lucius wants to advance politically in the state and he needs Emperor Augustus Caeser's sponsorship but his father Lullus has committed adultry with Caeser's daughter Julia. Caeser fears Lullus want to overthrow him so this makes sponsorship for Lucius very difficult. One has to read the book to find out what happens. Very good review.

I love history fictions. This book seem to fulfill every aspect of historical fiction. I love the name of the characters, especially Lucious. I do hope his father’s deeds do not affect his political ambition.

I like stories with the themes of love and politics. More so, having to read about the Roman empire and the events that took place then would add to my stock of historical knowledge. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!

I was very interested to read this book since it intersects politics and love in ancient Rome. It sounds very interesting! Two Faces of Janus seems to be very well written and straightforward, from what the review indicates. I don't know if I would like the fact that it's an open-ended book, but depending on the story, I might like it. I was very interested, thanks for the review.

It takes a brilliant author to write an exceptional short story. That this book makes use of historical facts adds to the challenge. I am happy to know that Linnea Tanner succeeded in this remarkable endeavor with just 39 pages.

'Official Review: Two Faces of Janus' by Linnea Tanner well presents the reviewer's opinion about the historical fiction book on the themes of love and politics for readers! It provides the readers with all the necessary information related to the book. The point that the author developed the characters and events in the book enough to give the reader a basis to connect with them is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the book is open-ended, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. Nice to learn that the book has virtually every attitude that makes up an enjoyable short story!
