I wonder what happens to Etta and Art. Well, every relationship has its ups and downs. Nice review!

I love nature and the author seems to have done such a great job of painting the picture.

I had to google what "jalopy" was. But the plotline sure is interesting! However, I'm not much into romance, so I'll give this book a pass. I'm new to this writing reviews, so I learnt quite a bit about structuring of paragraphs and other stuff from your review. I would be really grateful if you shared your thoughts about my recently published review as well.

Seems like a story about loss and hope. I don't know what a jalopy is but i wish to find out. Great review. Would love to read it.

I suspect that farm life, tragic accidents, abandoned cars, and arranged marriages were typical of the chosen time period, and it sounds like this author has developed a fairly entertaining storyline with interesting characters, so I might give this 1920s-era novel a try! Thank you for your review.

A jalopy is an abandoned car in a bad condition, which, in this story, is the same car on the book cover. I am glad you enjoyed my review. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! :tiphat:

I was not already familiar with the 1920s, but the book did open my eyes to a lot of things that were present in that period of time, and yes you certainly hit the mark with your comment. I appreciate your lovely words and hope you enjoy the book as much as I did! Thank you!

Stories set in the 1900s always lure me into their traps. Seems like a great story with interesting characterization. Awesome review.
