Art cover of the book

To be honest, if I were to judge this book by its cover, I wouldn't pick it up. The blue, TIME magazine-styled cover isn't the most attractive for me. It's the synopsis that intrigues me more, and I agree that you have to read the contents first to understand what's happening on the cover.

I do like the cover just not at first. They say don't judge a book by its cover but people do pick a book by looking at a cover or a title too. It certainly connected to the content of the book but I think the author loosen some edge.

Sometimes, it's enough to meet the themes in the book from the cover page. I needed to find more military portrait on the cover page.

I think the cover is confusing at first, but it does relate to the theme of racism that the book talks about. I would not choose this cover for its cover, but once you read the book the ar cover makes sense.

The cover is illustrated the book very well. We can clearly see that the book is about violence and racism. The hat that was worn by the people on the cover also signified the culture of Vietnam. The picture illustrated the normalcy of violence during the war.

Some authors preferred a more symbolic cover that probably a few, or only themselves, are just the only ones who can understand it at first and let the readers correlate it with the story. I also find it very taxing and deep, but I believe it is linked with the story’s substance. Kudos to the author of this masterpiece!

I think the cover is appropriate with the content itself because it could tell us about a lot of things including war, racism, and abuse.

I am interested in reading this book, however, what convinced me that this could possible be a good read is the book reviews I read regarding the story and not the cover itself. If I only saw the cover of the book, I definitely would not be interested in reading the story

I think the art was a skill used by the author to make me courious to read. It actually made the book unpredictable. In all there is a ture connection between the art and the story contained in the book.

At first the art seemed odd but when I began to read gradually it started making sense. To be the art is related to the story.

The title and the cover give you hints of different stories, and that's the problem. When you finish the book you see the point but that shouldn't be the idea.

I usually do not pay attention to the cover, but reading the book, I saw the connection of the story to the cover.

The cover does shout rasicm and specially makes the on-goer (you) seem like you should be actively involved in the story. For me it feels like a calling to come together.

I believe even though it seems violent at first glance, it perfectly illustrates the book's contents. It definitely made me interested to know the backstory of the scene on the book cover.
