I had a bit more of an opposite reaction to this book. I think the book is good to teach children about faith and Christianity, but I got a huge sense of fear mongering from it. The contrast between the bright and joyous parts of the book and the part about hell is very huge. It could have been more positive or at least, less harsh when it came to hell. Especially considering that children are all going to heaven. The subject could be introduced at a much slower pace.

I like the fact that you listened to the book and had a great experience reading while in a break time in my work. Christian parents would love for their children to read this and I love it too I think I want to share this book to my child..

I would like to read this book. I am always interested in how children's books present the 'adult' ideas (in this case ideas about God, faith and Christian morality) to the little ones. I am sure the book is wonderfully edited and illustrated, but I am interested in the actual content.

I think we should even learn to pray and read the Bible with our children if we are Christians. :tiphat: :techie-studyingbrown:

The sounds lovely....... and draws in the reader, I don't how heaven has been depicted but for Emma to want to have the same dream again must have been a wonderful experience. And I see this book being a favorite for Christian parents it teaches kids about God and installs Christian values in children but having them want to do the right things

With me being a parent, I always try to find ways to expose my child to something worth believing in. I am definitely going to get this book for my son
