Behind the interesting title Just L.E.A.P.: Messages that will inspire you to embrace life by Eva M. Kennedy readers will find a very skillfully written self-help book. Behind the abbreviation L.E.A.P. there are the author's messages "Live life for you" and "Expect good things to happen". To these should be added "Accept the things you can't change" as well as "Prosper in all areas of life". It is through these four short messages that the essence of the author's incentives for action intended for readers can be summarized.

Through more than forty short chapters, the author guides readers on a journey with the ultimate goal of improving their lives. Attentive readers will learn how to get out of their comfort zones and how thoughts affect our lives, but also the importance of being our own and authentic. In addition, the book is about what the author defines as a saboteur or negative self-talk that will inevitably appear in the minds of readers at some point. Although the book is primarily designed so that the author's messages are intended for women, the messages are universal and can be read by men without any problems. The chapters are logically organized and typically only a few pages long. At the end of each chapter, there is a space where readers can write down their conclusions and thoughts.

What I really liked about Just L.E.A.P.: Messages that will inspire you to embrace life is the great writing style. Eva M. Kennedy manages to reach readers with her immediacy. In her suggestions, the author offers a personal experience. Although it may seem like an almost insignificant detail, this nuance significantly contributes to making reading a book very enjoyable. Then, if the reader might think that the author is too arbitrary in her advice or overly subjective, the readers would be surprised by some of the presented data. Along with the advice to take care of your thoughts, the author will share with readers the fact that the average person has about 40 thoughts per minute. In addition to the advice to believe in yourself, make value-based decisions and choices, be grateful, foster self-love, appreciation, and acceptance, I believe that the author's primary idea was for readers to take concrete steps and improve their lives after reading the book.

There’s almost nothing I didn’t like about this book. To some extent, I did not like the idea that the author demonstrates the stated principle of perseverance by citing a prominent politician as an example. This is because I believe that books of this type should outlive politicians that the world will forget as soon as their term ends. In addition, politics is typically associated with strenuous and stressful content and is not a good fit for a book that promotes the improvement of life.

The decision on how to rate Just L.E.A.P.: Messages that will inspire you to embrace life was simple. The book's main strengths are its excellently organized content, clearly stated principles, and emphasis on practical application, which I rate four out of four stars.

I recommend the book to fans of self-help books as well as to all readers who are looking for a way to increase the quality of their lives. Fans of motivational and personal transformation books will enjoy this book. Although the author had the idea that the book should be intended for women, due to the universality of the views expressed, the book could be equally interesting to male readers. Due to the nature of the book, I believe that it is primarily intended for people who already have a family.

My experience with most self-help books is not that great and I believe to that many of them are overrated. However, this one looks appealing. Thanks for the nice review.
