This sounds like a delightful fantasy adventure. I have a smile picturing Ela's Beethoven-haired uncle! :D

Seems like a well made fantasy story for the youngsters but I feel adults would equally enjoy it. Reminding me of Alice in Wonderland although suspense and thrill seems to more here. Thanks for a nice review.

I don’t know if the author intended him to look like that but my imagination was unstoppable with this… 😂 thank you for stopping by, it is always good to “see” you! 👋

Funny, but I didn’t think of Alice when I read this book. The first thing that came to my mind was Harry Potter. Anyway, it is a cool story. Thanks for reading & commenting! 😃

Great book and great review. Unfortunately, books of this type often necessarily require a complex beginning that can demotivate readers.

Also, I like how you highlighted the author’s love of nature as well as Beethoven’s hairdo of uncle Archibald.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback. You are right, the backstory has to be explained somehow, and that is indeed a tricky thing to do if you don’t want to sound boring.
