This book intrigues me. Brandy, the girl raised by Pirates. She is left with the choice to choose for herself, live her life on the land or choose to walk in her parent's legacy. Wonderful review

I read this book and, I must say, it was excellent. This is one of the best historical fiction I have read. Despite its settings, it was made interesting to read. The author did an excellent job in this book. Congratulations on winning Book of the Day!

Brandy seems to have had a difficult life with parents one of whom was a pirate and the other was someone who killed King George's cousin. Will her mother's curse effect her too? Congrats on BOTD!

I appreciate a suspense-filled book. I also like the reviewer's effort to tell us what to expect in terms of violence and erotic scenes.

Brandy, Ballad of a Pirate Princess by Dan E. Hendrickson is about a girl raised by pirates. Her father was better known as The Plague and her mother was a hottempered scarlet mistress. This book teaches us that love is stronger than hate and the reality of fate is that it can be both cruel and kind.

This book captivated my attention so that I forgot to sleep :D At the begining I was thinking I will not suceed in reading it ecause it was uncomprehensive for me. But after the first page I was just what next what next? Maybe what happened to her parents is sad and I was in this state because death happens too fat in the beginning of the story but perhaps it is what is called "karma". They pirated killed many people and now the perrished also like they did before. I am just sad that her entire life was just that and se wasunconsious maybe.
Thank you for your comprehensive review.

I’d love to know if Brandy took back the red witch. That’d be the perfect choice. Great plot, great review. I’ll check this book out.

Since Brandy's parents are the most feared pirates in their time, I am not surprised to learn that Brandy and her uncle have to go into hiding because the enemies of her parents would definitely want to kill her as payback for what her parents did to them. This historical fiction novel is definitely intriguing. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I'm not really fond of stories about pirates, but it will be interesting to read about Brandy and her journey. Congratulations on BOTD!

Another Jack Sparrow-like tale? Lol. Just kidding. Tales about pirates seems to be epic. They are often intriguing, thriller-packed and all. The reviewer has done a good job. Kudos.
