Those who love personal stories about overcoming challenges and personal growth, as well as those about travel, adventure, culture, and even a bit of romance will definitely want to give this one a try!

Thank you for the review, since the sample was quite difficult to read till the story really began. The dictionary proved useful and the plot is convincing (yes, I know it is a memoir so it should be convincing, being true). A love story set in the wrong place and time- quite interesting.
