If you were rich enough would you have both versions

I agree with everyone that reference in both versions of the books ... i mean it would be nice and i would separate them in different shelfs but quick question. . The books that you keep.. as you get old.. are you going to sell them .. Because books as they age are really expensive and probably your sons and daughters will remember you as the great father or mother who has obsession in books whether there is both version of it and they will as it fown to your grand kids ... and then the next generation. . Books are extremely amazing and they do have a power of knowledging each one member in your home.. i mean.. are you going to pass it on to them... are you going to sell them.. what is your request as you get old...because of course books are great .. but.. is it necessary to keep them all... Because you love them... or is because of an obsession. ..

I do not like clutter. No matter how much I like a book, I would still want an e-book. Heck, I read the bible every day - on my smartphone .
The only times I long for a paperback is when reading under a tree or at the beach or when I want to discourage conversation but do not want to appear like I am just aimlessly scrolling on my gadget.

It doesn't matters whether i am rich or not. But it depends on the choice that i would make and i would prefer to buy both as i can use them based on the level of comfort that i would choose while I read.

No I don't think I would. I'd rather have a huge library with a great view, a window seat, a place by the fire and some greenery around the room.

Initially, I would only purchase hard copies of books that left a mark for whatever reason or touched me particularly.
That said, if I was rich , I think I would quickly progress to buying a hard copy of every book that I read, just to show on my bookshelves that " I read that"!

If I have enough money, I will probably make my own library with thousands, if not millions, of paper books. Personal opinion, at least no one can stop you from dreaming.

I can’t stand clutter so I would stick to my ebooks…. I only buy physical copies of books that are classics or my favorites that I know I will keep around.

Absolutely. There are so many books that I have read on my kindle that I want the hard copy for.

It depends on how much I like the book! Usually I'll only get ones I really love in paperbacks.

I most definitely will! In fact, I would love them in three formats - including audio books too. I already do this but only for those books that I truly enjoy and know for sure, I will return to.

Physical copies count as a collection. Showing your kindle reads aren't isn't that amazing. Hardcovers are best for collections. But yeah, I can totally understand if someone decides to buy every possible version of a book- if money isn't the issue!

If I were rich not only would I have both versions, I'd make it my mission in life to track down and get the oldest possible versions of the books as well! Imagine owning a first edition of A Midsummer Nights Dream !!!
