It's interesting to know if Elizabeth Bancroft succeeded in hiding her identity. Severing ties to the past is an incredible decision to make. Thanks for the great review!

I like the sound of this narrative, and, since I'm a sucker for historical fiction, I will give the book a try.
Congratulations, BOTD.

It's great to see that an older character is portrayed as a lively and powerful individual in this well-written, character-driven historical fiction novel.

This sounds like a thrilling historical fiction which is highlighting racial discrimination, while giving it suspense and uniquely engaging characters. I will enjoy this book. Thanks for the review.

Historical fiction is my number one classification. I particularly admire it when there is a solid lady person like Margaret! This sounds like a best read, so I will look at it! A debt of gratitude is in order for the beneficial survey!

The plot sounds intriguing. I haven't yet dabbled in historical fiction, but your reviews intrigue me, and this may be where I begin. Good job!

Sounds like an interesting book. I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone who hates people based on their race. Congratulations on BOTD!

Kaulah, awesome review! Well developed and believable female protagonists, a spattering of history and the intricacies of building a house are all aspects that endear this review (and novel) to me. Especially since I have some experience with dealing with being hands-on while building a house.
