The premise looks interesting, but getting bogged down in descriptions is worrisome.

The plot sounds intriguing, and I'm curious about the lovers' story, what obstacles they faced, and how they overcame them. I love historical fiction; however, I am not a fan of plot disruption, so if the flow is hard to follow, I usually don't read them. Thank you for an informative review.

I’m not usually a fan of historical fiction, but this discusses the Native American culture if only peripherally and I’m interested in that.

The book seem to tell two stories. The story of the researchers seem interested, but I love the story about the lovers even more.

This story sounds kind of interesting, but the genre isn’t usually my go to. I might try to read the sample though.

Thank you for being honest about the recommendation. While I do not like historical fiction, this sounds like a great book for readers who like reading books about historical treasure hunts. The romantic side of the book appears to be an added bonus.
