The death of Eric!!!, the way Eric was killed, it really struck me, not to talk of the death of his wife, very touching.

The death of Brandy’s father was the most touching to me. It’s the single event that changed Brandy’s life completely.

Losing a loved one especially a mother is one of the hardest thing ever. I felt her pain greatly. That scene got me so emotional. Maybe because I know what loss really means.

A mother dying in front of her own child's eyes is too tragic. There are no words to describe that feeling. But Brandy along with witnessing such devastation has to suddenly grow up; what a scary thought!

Eric 's death, it totally struck me out. Also, the way Brandy's mother died - she sacrificed herself for her daughter and that is one scary thing about mother's love for their child(ren)

Sometimes the things that make us cry the most is not the atrocities we see but the humanity that stands against them. It is beautiful and heartwarming when Captain Joshua tells off the visiting sailor harassing Davonte. It shows love and hunaniyty

The most touching event is when Brandy's mother died in front of her. Till now when I think of the scenario, I feel pained. For me, there is nothing more painful than that.

Eric's death. It was so unbelievable, more because that was my favourite character.

For me, the most emotional scene was when Brandi's mother was killed. I can't imagine the pain of watching someone take your mother's life right before your eyes!

The most heart touching event in the book was when Eric was killed. I had to re read to check if he actually died.

For me, the scene I shed a tear was when Brandy’s mother died. As a mother, I know why she did what she did and I could relate to her so much. It was very emotional for me.

To me the most precious thing in this world is the mother, so the answer to this question is easy for me: the scene of a mother's death! This story completely shook my soul and heart, small insects are still in my body when I remember this story.
