Mark Himebaugh, the second and last child of Jody and Maureen Himebaugh, mysteriously disappeared on the 25th of November 1991 along Cape May County Park-South on Bayshore road. Eleven-year-old Mark was reportedly seen along the bay watching the fire incident that afternoon. He was last seen heading towards the park with a younger girl, who didn't look like Mark's usual companion, his girlfriend, Robyn. His mother, Maureen, had filed for a divorce from his father earlier that year. His father, Jody Himebaugh, was no longer living with the family when this tragic incident happened. He seemed to care less about his son's whereabouts. Where exactly is Mark?

WHERE IS MARK?: The Abduction of Mark Himebaugh by Richard McHale is a story about the Himebaughs and the enigmatic disappearance of Mark. Richard McHale was one law enforcement official who handled Mark's case. This suspense-filled thriller is a compendium of the many ongoing and unnoticed ills in our society and the unfathomable vices happening right under the noses of less concerned civilians. November 25, 1991, is a date that will not be forgotten so soon in Del Haven, New Jersey.

The grief of a sorrowful mother, the neglect of a less concerned father, and the bewildering experience the police officers faced were positive aspects of the book for me. The shift in this book's narrative and general perspectives is worth commending. The writer didn't seem to be in haste to unravel the mystery behind Mark's disappearance. I had a lot of questions on my mind while reading. Was Mark abducted? Did he run away? Was he trapped somewhere? Will he be found?

Contained also in this manuscript was a global awakening concerning the ills that surround and live amongst us. Mark's disappearance is a tough nut to crack, and his experience serves as a topic worth commemorating. Many young children are bound to suffer the fate of Mark and even worse if we don't take note of our surroundings, especially the activities that keep younger ones occupied.

I enjoyed every bit of this story, so I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was an exciting journey. The integration of flashbacks was perfect, and I learned a lot about family bonds and children's upbringing. I don't have any negative aspects about the book. The book was professionally edited. There were just a few errors.

This book will benefit anyone who enjoys family-related books and soon-to-be parents. But it's basically for readers that are sixteen years and above because of the sexual content.

This review has me gripped already. Where is Mark? Did he run away of his own volition or was he the victim of a serious crime? I cannot wait to read and find out.

I would also love to know where Mark is. If he was found or never. What happened to him and how his mum felt.
