This book sounds useful for those entering or in their retirement years, particularly if they want to be active rather than think that their lives are over. It could also help younger readers understand older relatives and neighbors better, even if it might be outdated by the time they reach this age. Thank you for the helpful review.

This book is highlighting the situation of aging in America. The caregivers who are unpaid explains how deep the situation is. I think the Government should decide to bring in more foreigners to fill the gap.
Great book

A nice eye opening book "Taking Charge: Vol. 2 More Stories on Aging Boldly" by Herb Weiss, which explorers the effect of aging on holder population and its effect on younger generation. Nice book to read.

Now, another book that sounds interesting. The target audience is apt. I think it is one that everyone should get hold of, age the issues discussed seem to affect everyone. After, everyone may most likely age.

Thank you for a great review! I appreciate your honesty about the title not reflecting the actual contents of the book. I did read the excerpt on Amazon and was hoping it would swerve more to my taste later. I am a baby boomer, so I thought it may be interesting to read stories by others, but I gather that is not what the book is about. Good to know.

I appreciate taking the time to make this review. my father just turned 50 and my grandpa recently passed away, and I think this book could be very useful for my dad while he undergoes his transition from first born son, to patriarch of the whole family.

I just love that this book is so realistic. The author has taken his time to bring to limelight unusual issues that would have been easily overlooked and set aside as unimportant. Impressive!

In my culture here in Africa, knowledge from elders is the most sacred and revered since it's believed the best intelligence is honed by experience and the wisdom that comes with it. I like how this book partially touches and reinforces that ideology.
