Science fiction that makes one think is always a treat. On the other hand, books with disappointing endings obviously aren't a favourote of mine. I love the points you covered in your review, though, especially your summary of the book and notes about Komeshak's writing style, so thank you!

This is quite an interesting book so far. I could not imagine being picked up by the military and being made to determine the fate of planet Earth. Thanks for an amazing review! :)

I am not very fond of stories about aliens. Therefore, I don't think I would enjoy this book. Besides, the fact that the review mentioned they didn't like the ending makes me think I would be disappointed by it if I read it.

This sounds like a thought-provoking story, but it would not be much of an escape: it seems very much like our current real-life issues (except for the alien 👽).

Thank you for your thorough review, and congrats on BOTD.

This is a great and honest review of the book. Though I haven't read much of sci-fi, I'm very intrigued and want to give this one a try. I like the storyline that it presents with a bit of suspense.

There is a kind of suspense that this book carries with a unique plotline. I can imagine the situation faced by Jason and Sarah. Thanks for the review.

It is book about aliens on earth, conceived by deep imaginative power of the writer. If you could momentarily suspend reality and relax your hold on it,you would see the beauty and excellence of this book. Great review....

The possible distant worlds and their visit to our Earth conducted in the key of adventure is always a good option to visit our current possibilities and decisions. The review is inspiring for me. Thank you, Prisallen.

One thing I might like about this book is that it’s philosophical. I might not enjoy the profanity though. Sounds like an intriguing sci-fi.

With all of the current space exploration by incredible telescopes and unmanned probes the possibility of life on other planets is becoming more and more believable. We know that Earth is not the center of the universe and therefore there could be thousands of planets that are inhabited by living beings, some even being human. This book could be vision of the future when aliens come to us instead of people from Earth going to their planets. Micah, the spokesperson for the aliens stated that they come in peace but then start making ultimatums that Earth must follow or they will leave and never return to help Earth again. I would be worried about how peaceful these aliens really are and want to know if they have alterior motives. If yes, then what steps should Earth take? A very interesting book with a great review.

Honestly, I don't know if I'd like to read this book or not. I don't like when someone has the stereotype to an alien. Are they really look like that? It sounds boring. I expected that the author could be more creative to describe how are they look like. Thank you for nice review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story about a group of people that were selected to act as ambassadors to a powerful race of aliens who have decided to help humanity resolve some dangers. The issue is that the ambassadors must make a decision about what the most dangerous threat to Earth is or lose the aliens help. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Aliens again? It makes one wonder whether they are real at all. But that's what fictions are for. Creativity at its best. This is just another thriller. It will be worth the read. Another great one I guess.

Jason and Sarah are carried away by aliens. They are expected to save the world. It seems predictable. I have to read to find out. Thanks for the review.
