I'm a perfectly normal-looking human asexual. Does it mean this alien looks like me? Maybe this alien is more like "agender". I already read books with similar themes to this one, so I'll check if there's anything new. It sounds like "The Day the Earth Stood Still" movie. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This looks like a promising sci-fi story. A story that brings diverse groups of people into a team with the hopes of preventing the end of the world.

Thank you for the interesting and informative review. You did a great job of giving us great tidbits without any spoilers. Thank you also for being honest. Due to the bad language, I won’t be reading this book.

This sci-fi sounds like it's chock-filled with drama, suspense and thrill in all the right amounts. I'll confess that I have a bit of a bias for sci-fi books since their my favourite genre, even amongst most sci-fis, this story-line stands out with its unique rendition on aliens that actually come in "peace". A lot of potential for a successful series in this plot if it's really executed the right way.

Aliens who are trying to help the people of Earth rather than overtake the planet. This premise seems new to a sci-fi novel. I am interested in finding out what happens in the end. Thanks for an honest review!

The premise sounds intriguing and as though it could bring a lot of different social, political, and cultural issues to the forefront, both through the issues suggested as the biggest issue facing Earth and through the conflicts that arise among the “chosen ones” as they discuss the topic. However, I’m uncertain about the book after seeing that the author uses “asexual” to describe the alien’s physical appearance as having “features akin to both male and female.” An error like that makes me question how accurately the diverse “chosen ones” are depicted, so I’ll skip this one. Thank you for the helpful review.

Though, in honestly and truth be told , is difficult to make decisions and I heartily recommend this story for book clubs, as it is great for philosophical discussions and is all abouth the religion, wealth and philosophy.

Very intriguing and thought- provoking. I am intrigued of the decision, the chosen ones have selected. In this sci- fi book, the aliens to pose as harmless extraterrestrial beings which are here to aid Earth. I am picking this to read because I have started to like this genre. Congrats Botd!

This science-fiction novel reminds me of The Hunger Games. I am curious about the criteria used to choose Jason and the others. This book seems like it will be a wild and exciting ride so congrats on BOTD.

Wow that is a great premise deciding the fate of earth and taking into consideration that the aliens could have ulterior motives. I couldn't imagine how hard that could be and congratulations on being chosen for of the day.

Making choices for the whole world is difficult because their fate is in your hands. I guess the book teaches us how to make choices at hard times. I am glad you enjoyed the book and sorry for the errors encountered. Am not a sci-fi lover, so I won't be interested much in this book
