I've been thinking about lessons I've learnt that I put in my book, in some form or another. Here's one: I remember when in the 6th grade, we had a magician who came to our school and pulled a flower out of the air. When I told my mother how amazing that was, she said, "It's no different than when you say something nice to your sister and put a smile on her face out of nowhere." I am now beginning to get what mom was saying.

This lesson is found in my book, with the idea of The Maestro pulling 'visions of winning' out of the air - so that you may experience WOW out of nowhere :)

The main thing I learnt from this book was perseverance and learning to believe in oneself

One lesson I have learned through reading this book is how we must shot out the intruder's voice in all of us. Most times we are plagued by feelings of inadequacy and imposter syndrome. This book teaches us how to activate the maestro in all of us through shutting this out.

There were a lot of things I learned from reading this book. However, what really stayed with me was that we could take a break, we could rest, and yet we could still make it to wherever we wish to be as long as we kept at it. Nothing can beat someone that doesn't give up.

After reading it, I realized that in order to be more positive, I needed to embrace and appreciate my true self and learn how to handle my negative emotions.
Books are a unique form of accessible magic. Reading is required for those who wish to rise above the mundane. If you dislike reading, it's most likely because you haven't found the right book.

I learned that you are the maestro of your life, and no one else is. To achieve that status, you have to confront the imposter.

There are so many lessons in this book. I am glad I learned a lot from this book. It is a motivational book that inspires one. From this book, I learned how to empower myself and how to engage more in self-talks. I learned how to stay away from negative people. I also learned about the company one keeps. I learned how to be wary of certain kinds of people

I love the lesson you learned,Rianne: "Nothing can beat someone that doesn't give up." As the author of thiss book, I want folks to get that their true nature, as human beings, does not depend on always winning. In fact, if we always won, we'd learn nothing new, and it would get awfully boring fast. Hence, our true nature looks forward to losing, as much as we win, so we can learn from the loss and turn it into yet another win :) That's the Maestro, right there. And that's life: winning some and losing some and learning from the losses so we can win some more.

Thank you, Rianne, for your input :) Rob

Asking for one lesson learned in this book is like asking me for one thing I liked on the trip to Hawaii. There's so much to learn. But one striking thing about this book is how I now have to look inward to deal with the things that are hindering my success.

I learned that I have to detach myself from a false part of me that is limiting me. And yes, it has helped me to develop a limitless mindset and I have been discussing it with others that care to listen to me.

Evil communication corrupts good manners is a popular saying and this book definitely thought me the importance of keeping the right company.

I learnt so much about self discipline and self denial. Self denial is the best way to get yourself better.

i learnt that the things done to us or the ones we go through affect us one way or another and they become the intruder. i should therefore let go of all my negative emotions so as to be free from the intruder. i also learn that its only me who can change my self to be a better person

There were so many intriguing points that Rob White presented in this book. The one that really stood out for me was his lesson on turning your envy inwardly so you envy your unrealized potential instead of others. I love this because so many people will tell you to just stop envying other, and as correct as that is, it is difficult to just stop doing it without replacing it wit a healthier alternative.

I learnt a lot of lessons from this book, however one that really got me thinking is, how we think about ourselves really matter and effects our lives. Negative thinking brings just the wrong impression.
