From the sample and your review, awesome! There is an immediate connection to Caspar. Generally, historical fiction books can either be a miss or hit for me. This is an historical fiction I would like to read. Learning more about these historical people and events will give wisdom to my mind. The fact that the author was able to write about all these people in a less than 300 pages book is a job weldone.

I love a good historical fiction and this one fits the bill. It features Cleopatra, the Roman Empire, Caesar Augustus, King Herod, amongst several other legends and popular historical events. I love Ancient Rome and Cleopatra, so this story definitely sounds interesting to me. However, I find the name Caspar not very fitting.
