Great review, almost as good as the book itself. I loved the sample and would like to go on reading since I have always been fascinated by Egyptian history. The author must have studied a lot before starting to write!

I have only recently discovered how much I enjoy historical fiction. I would love to hear more about Caspar, Cleopatra, and the Roman empire based on your review. This is going on my reading list!

I am no fan of historical novels but if there is a romantic angle in the book, my interest escalates. I am curious to find out more about the great queen Cleopatra and how the magus's life turns out at her service. Phenominal review.

From the sample and your review, awesome! There is an immediate connection to Caspar. Generally, historical fiction books can either be a miss or hit for me. It only takes one chapter for me to make a decision to commit to a book till the very end. I have added it to my bookshelf for future reading. Thank you for the detailed review.

I'm going to skip this book for now but I enjoyed your analysis of the text. Thanks for the review.

This is an historical fiction I would like to read. Learning more about these historical people and events will give wisdom to my mind. The fact that the author was able to write about all these people in a less than 300 pages book is a job weldone.

I love a good historical fiction and this one fits the bill. It features Cleopatra, the Roman Empire, Caesar Augustus, King Herod, amongst several other legends and popular historical events. I do hope Caspar's role in the story ends well. Great BOTD. Thank you for your positive and convincing review.

I love Ancient Rome and Cleopatra, so this story definitely sounds interesting to me. However, I find the name Caspar not very fitting.

Greatly written review and a good job. I'm not interested in historical fiction set so far in the past even though Cleopatra sounds like an amazing and intriguing character.
