I’ve always wanted to read books about the Cleopatra. I read books about the Roman history but rarely about her. This will be a good place to start!

It sounds like this story encompasses many old, familiar historical figures which makes it a very exciting option for history fans. I like the idea of Caspar living off his wits because of the dangers surrounding him! Great review- thank you!

This sounds like an interesting historical fiction. Its intriguing to see a different side of Cleopatra. I'm intrigued to know about the other legendary characters, such as Agrippa and King Herod that the book speaks about. Thanks for the review

"Caspar: Last of the Magi" by Fred Fraikor. A very interesting historical fiction, talks about Cleopatra. Casper in his own side, never knew or understand what the future holds for him. Then the invitation to see the Queen came and that alone was a turn around for him. Congrats on the #BOTD.

At first I thought Caspar was one of the three wise men who paid homage to Jesus in Bethlehem. I have to do a little digging into history to fully appreciate this story. Cleopatra is certainly one huge historical figure, and it wouldn't hurt to know her better.

This seems like an interesting book. Historical fictions are very exciting especially those that capture the beauty and adventures of the ancient times and some as famous as Cleopatra. Congratulations on BOTD

Talking about Cleopatra, Caesar Augustus and other kings makes it sound interesting. I will love to read the historical fiction of these legends.
Thanks for the review.

As a person who specializes in Science and Mathematics, I must say, Caspar: Last of the Magi sounds great. Historical stories have always been interesting to me when they are televised (e.g Troy, 300, Immortals, Lord of the rings, The Hobbit etc). This is due to the fact that I found out that a lot of these books contain 500 to 1000 pages or even more, of which by then I lead a very busy schedule to even consider reading those kind of books. Now that I have witnessed such a vivid review, It shows that it's only a matter of patience and dedication to get lost in the story and finish it.

I'm sure this book would be a great read. A story on Cleopatra and the Roman Empire? I do not think I have read that before. Thanks for the brilliant review.

To me the name of Cleopatra forever will be associated with brilliant Elizabeth Taylor. She was so majestic and believable in this role, beautiful and strong that it is unescapable not to see her in place of main heroine of the book. I am interested to find out, how the story will play out in the end. Congrats with BOTD!
