Books like this are very educative as it enlightens oneself about the history of Korea. I would pick this up as I love to read about places.

Exactly! You know this.

My love for Korean movies has influenced my interest in reading this book, plus the review is super interesting to read. I'm particularly interested in learning more about Embon, his mother and then, his friends.

I have watched a few Korean films and I enjoyed them very much. I may not be quite knowledgeable on the Korean culture but I am interested in reading this book, especially on neocolonialism in Korea. Great review!!

Your review is exceptionally written and I enjoyed it. I believe that every book needs a review. From this review, I can see that Embon was someone that knew what he wanted and he went for it. Determination is the key to succeed.
