Re: What would you change?
I didn't like that Eva married Cain. It just felt so wrong. I would have preferred that Cain married one of his sister's who was not as closely connected to Abel as Eva. It felt so unjust given the fact that he was already spared a lot after killing his brother.Samisah wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 11:31 The book gives a fiction version of the biblical story of the book of Genesis. It is well written and has a lot to offer. However, readers must understand that it is the author's perspectives that were given in the book.
So I guess i wanted wanted to ask those who have read the book if there are narratives they didn't like or felt out of place. If yes, how would you have rather written it?

My thoughts exactly, I feel like this is a disruption of a sacred book. I think the author would have written his own book, maybe bring in some things from the Bible.Readerjorge wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 18:46 I did not like that mixture of facts referenced in the bible with the author's imagination. I believe biblical stories are sacred and should not be mixed with innovative contributions that are not necessarily true.
