Sorry, just read a little of the free sample, so I don't lose my raffles. Really wish we had choices, I refuse to read books like these.

What a great review! This book sounds memorable. An inspirational and intriguing life story from the author himself. A self-help book full of philosophy and spiritual experiences. I'm not into this kind of book, but I'm sure there are so many audiences who will find this a valuable read.

A story about an ordinary boy who has something extraordinary happen when he begins to have spiritual visions. Readers that are religious and interested in self-help books will be drawn to this guide. Thanks for the lovely review.

The book seems like a memoir and self-help that explores an alternative approach to rediscovering the self and finding spiritual freedom. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

I love how this author was not afraid to speak his mind when talking about religion. He put something personal to him out on the pages of a book, and I think that this book could help many others if they took the time to read.

I like how you say, "You don’t have to agree with all [the book's] points to take the lessons you need to apply to your own life." That sounds like helpful advice for reading this self help book.

In my point of view, as you very well explained in this review, there is a little information for different types of viewpoints, even though I don't consider myself someone very religious, I appreciate what the author tries to achieve, help people by teaching them the tools that they have at their disposal without asking for extreme things, simply that each one go in their own heads and analyze what is there to improve. I don't know if I would value the book as much as you do, as I did feel a bit of cult leader energy thrown into all of this. It is very good to want to help others and use personal experiences for that, but each person is their own world with their own rules, so I would alert anyone who reads to do so with great discretion and take everything with tweezers, take what is good but up to a certain point.

This is an inspirational and motivational book. We go through the author's life experience, how he found Jesus and how that has been a big part of his life. A lot of lessons to be learned from this book. Well deserved.

I believe in God and believe spirituality is a personal connection between a believer and God. I am uncertain if I would embrace anything involving specified religion, but I follow non-denominational Christianity. Nice review.

While reading the review, I was trying to understand the meaning of 'bones' stated in what Jesus asked Richard to do. Nice review.

I love the idea of a vision quest, and I think I'd enjoy vicariously accompanying the author on his. This spiritual guide sounds like it has something for everyone. I also like that it has some humor sprinkled throughout! Thanks for the thorough review and recommendation.

Just from the title and the advertisement, this official review not withstanding, my hackles are raised. This is a sensitive subject, spiritual guidance.

The review points to ruffling feathers...and this is indeed inescapable. It does not however mention any communal highlights and growths and anchors.

This is a point that cannot be whitewashed when we speak about spirituality because it is inevitable to escape responsibility to a larger group. One cannot grow in faith alone.
This gives me plenty of misgivings. Am most unlikely to recommend this book to anyone let alone reading it my self despite the curiosity on how to resolve a mugging without a fight.

This self-help book seems to bring a lot about the author's personal story, but also anecdotes, inspirational content, and some aspects about spiritual growth and guidance, consciousness, meditation, and a lot more. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!
