I'm sure it would take time before Callaghan will get used to his new face but I think it's a perfect way to exact his revenge on people who put him in that difficult situation. The dark, all-consuming nature of revenge is also explored, as Callaghan finds a strange satisfaction in plotting against those who wronged him, and in alienating those who were a part of his former life.

This book seems to delve into the darker sides of human nature, given the horrible and untenable situation Callaghan finds himself in. Excellent review!

That's a very detailed review. I feel like I know exactly what to expect from the book. I like the fact that this series details real events from history and gives good insight into some of the elements we only sometimes hear about, before going quickly back to our distracting and self interested lives. Sounds like a good read.
