The best thing that can happen to anybody is for them to love who they are irrespective of what people say or think about them. What I Like Best About Being Small by Jeff Bowers is a book written to help children, and possibly some adults, appreciate their body size.

Sophia Van Cone lives in the little village of Wafflecone. She has lots of friends, like Cindy McSugar, Mia Macaroni, Joey Ginger Snap, Kevin Cookiedough, Peter Pizza, and Timmy Taco. However, Sophia was the smallest of them all. She didn't see this as a disadvantage, as most people do, but instead, she saw the positive things about being small. She could fit in anywhere she wanted; she always sat in the front row; she rode her pony without worries; she also got to see her favourite animals eye to eye and a lot more.

This is a good read for every child. One of the major problems children face is low self-esteem, and with books like this, they will learn to appreciate themselves from a young age. The pictures in this book were not only interactive, but they were also funny and beautiful. Just like the author, I'm quite tall, so I can only imagine what it feels like to be small. However, I always duck when I walk around, and I often hit my head somewhere. So I can tell you that whatever has an advantage also has its disadvantages, so learn to appreciate yourselves better.

There was nothing to dislike in this book. I don't see why this book shouldn't be rated 4 out of 4 stars. I found the names of the characters funny. I think it would help children learn about food and people at the same time. I hope that this book reaches a lot of children. Some might not be dealing with size; maybe it is how they walk, but I believe that when they read this book they will learn to take the positives in anything life offers us.

I would love to recommend this book to every child and people who love reading children's books. The book was educative. It was exceptionally well-edited. I didn't notice a single error while I was reading.

No matter how you are, you are beautifully and wonderfully made. You should have low self-esteem because of what someone is saying. Nice review.

This looks like a great book for kids, and I love the cover illustration. The message that you're ok no matter what your size or shape is a great one for kids to learn.

It's very rare to find an error free book, I would've really loved to read this book because of that. However, children's books aren't my cup of coffee. Thanks for an excellent review.

This sounds like a must-read for all children and as you said, some adults (parents too I would add) alike. Body positivity is so important, especially for growing children. Thank you for the review.

I agree with you, love yourself, be careless of what people say about you, focus, and be determined to make it in life. Great review.

One of the many things that people care so much about, is their size and shape. It’s funny because we’re all so different and come in different sizes. This doesn’t make anyone better than the other. I love that through this book, the author teaches children early, the importance of loving and appreciating one’s self.
