I agree with this comment and this is also similar to how we have allowed race and ethnicity to make us judgmental of someone who is not from our group of race or ethnic group.Simmons32 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2022, 14:49 I did notice this about the abnormals. They were persecuted because of something they were born with. That is very similar to how people feel judged today. I also felt like the whole situation had a similar vibe to what people went through with the pandemic. People weren’t wanting to be around others, sticking to their own groups, and there is also a lot of judgement. The whole book also had an isolated feeling, which we all experienced through the lockdowns.
