Re: Review of Chasing Time

'Official Review: Chasing Time' by Thomas Reilly has a clear introduction. It well describes the engaging plot of the story about a history professor unraveling clues from an ancient time-bending key in an effort to save his wife for readers. The point that the author intertwined history, medicine and drug discoveries, and fantasy in the story is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the author's job of presenting the theme of family in the story is exemplary, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the author's prowess in penning down the historic tale makes it seem like a walk in the park!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting mystery story about a man who witnesses a time capsule and the predictions that it contained as a child. With those predictions, he attempts to use a Janus Key to save his wife. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Illnesses can be detrimental to the familial unit. I wonder if Tony was ever able to help his wife recover from her illnesses? Thanks for the great review! :)

I am not a fan of such books but this one is amazing. The author's ability to build up such a captivating plot in the beginning, makes it pleasurable. Ann's disease and the means of discovering it cure make It enthralling as one would be curious to know how it ended. Great review, congrat.

The story is a bouncing back and forth in history, and shows what have changed and what remains the same. I would really want to know what happens with the Janus key. But at last it's Ann's health that is in the focus.

I always appreciate when a fictional story can explain real situations, the use of fictional elements under a sad and very real context, having a sick family member and seeing how it disappears day by day is something very strong to go through, the cost on oneself and you loved ones, how it affects them, and the feeling of not being able to do anything. An interesting narrative, is the kind of story that makes you understand the value of life and learn to appreciate the people close to you.

How the mysterious Janus Key will have an impact in Tony's life? I can't help wondering if there is no curse attached to its use. Will Ann get a cure? I am intrigued, thanks to your review.

In a situation where all your dreams, hope, and aspirations are just shattered by an incurable disease, such an experience can be tragic. Thanks for a great review.

Indeed no one knows tomorrow. The feeling of being sick alone is depressing let alone when you are held down by a sickness that seems incurable. Nice review.

This book makes sense in that the author is creative and innovative to fantasize chasing time in simple terms

I realized a long time ago, that I should live for today. Yesterday I cannot change, and tomorrow isn't promised. It will be interesting to watch the progression and family dynamics of this story. Great review!
