The Devil Pulls the Strings by J. W. Zarek is a fascinating work of fiction that delves into the mysterious life and ordeals of Boone Daniels. The book contains 279 pages, and it is divided into five acts with forty-seven chapters. The book starts with the joust between Sir Flynn Michaels and Sir Boone Daniels. The first chapter talks about the joust between the two friends, and it also talks about the interference by Laureus. Laureus is a mysterious guy from the Lavender and Roses society. The first chapter also gives information about the pre-planned trip to Professor Stone's abode. The second chapter of this book talks about Boone's journey. He had a dream before the beginning of the journey, and it is something that has been happening for a while. Boone is not a normal guy, and his parents disappeared when he was young. The third chapter talks about his arrival at Professor Stone's abode and his encounter with an unknown assailant. Professor Stone was killed, and they, Bonnie and Sapphire, had to run for their lives. By coincidence, he met Sapphire Anjou at Professor Stone's place. The book goes on to talk about his escapade with Sapphire, and it involves two unknown men who want something from them because of their connection with Professor Stone. There is a particular music sheet that was in the possession of Professor Stone, and there are people who want to take it from him, but will they succeed? Where did Professor Stone keep the music sheet? What is the role of Boone Daniels in the prophecy?

The Devil Pulls the Strings by J. W. Zarek is an intriguing work of fiction that revolves around magic, music, and society. The book was written with a third-person narrative. I love the plot and the storyline of this book, and I believe this book is character-driven because the book seems to focus on the ordeals of Boone Daniels. The author did a good job in the characterization of this book. The prologue of this book gives an idea of what the book entails. In my opinion, I do not think the glossary was entirely necessary, but it was not out of place. The author also did a good job of using simple understandable words to describe the characters' actions, environment, and emotions.

Boone Daniels is my favorite character in this work of fiction. I love the way he carried himself, and I also admire his relationship with Sapphire Anjou. It is necessary to face whatever obstacle that stands in the way of achieving specific goals. As a human, it is necessary to not make empty promises.

I enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed the suspense, and I savored every aspect of Zarek's work. I did not notice any negative aspects while reading this book, and i did not encounter anything that disrupted my flow while reading this interesting work of fiction. I learned a few lessons from this book, and I love how the author constructed the storyline.

This work of fiction was well written. In my opinion, this book was professionally edited. I noticed a few grammatical errors while reading this book.

One notable thing about Boone Daniels is his determination to do what Flynn asked him to do. I love the determination and perseverance of Boone, and I love how the story ended. I recommend this book to lovers of fiction and fantasy. This work of fiction has a touch of magic in it, and I admire the author's writing style. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars due to the few points mentioned above and because of the intriguing nature of this book.
