No One Will Hear You Scream by E. J. Goldberg-Phillips is a fictional story about a renowned author named Ruby Latimer. She had made a somewhat fraudulent decision out of desperation at not completing her ongoing novel, which created anxiety because of the number of individuals waiting for the release of her next book.
I didn't like the numerous uses of figurative terms. That took a lot of re-reading to figure out who the ghost-writer was implying.

This book sounds interesting. We've all felt desperate at times, needing to achieve some goal that we realize we aren't. The idea that Lizzie can escape her kidnapper without knowing she is doing it is interesting. I'm not sure whether this is a dramatic or comical situation, but I'm intrigued.
