It's a pity that this book is so poorly edited and formatted because the relatable topics and simple language would've made it an ideal read for a broad audience.
Thank you for your honest review!

The rating is pretty low for book, but your review sounds encouraging. So I'll still give it a try. I hope the issues get fixed. Thanks for the excellent review!

I love the message of joining hands and doing better to make everything better. As a society, as humans, we have been selfish for too long and I love that authors like Nicky Corcoran are stepping away from that.

I love poem collection's and this sounds like an amazing one. I agree with the author, indeed we all have to join hands to make the world a better place. I like that it also discusses a variety of topics. Congratulations on BOTD 😁

Fantastic honest review. The author sounds like she has the right idea, touching on everyday subjects. But I can see why you gave this only 2 stars. If the poems ran together and there was no distinct starting or stopping point, it could get confusing.

I like that this book is very relatable, but I'm not going to read today's BOTD due to the errors and th issues with its spacing.

I've enjoyed reading poems for the longest I can remember. I always lose interest in such poetry books when the poet or author doesn't organize the work clearly. I'll pass this one. Nice job

Thanks for the excellent review on this book of poetry. I agree that the presentation needs improvement, but the message that the author passionately believes in and shines through the poetry, needs to be read. I hope that she is able to make the necessary changes. I believe I would enjoy seeing the finished product.

Today's BOTD is a collection of poems that focus on a variety of topics ranging from fear, happiness, and mental health to education, religion, and discrimination. Readers will find these poems to be relatable, authentic, and relevant to our world today. Sounds like they would make for some great discussions, too! Thank you so much for the thorough review! Keep up the amazing work!! :-)

A nice collection of twenty poems in the book "Shine a Light" by Nicky Corcoran, which shares the life experiences of the author's growing up since 1960s. This book looks inspirational.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

That's simply a best review ever because it states how those poems have portrayed a message to the people and the experience of the writer, and the language also is quite good and very unique I like it

I usually love reading poems but I like them written in more traditional forms. Free-form style often does not have the same the same charm, I would say. It’s a shame that good content was marred errors.

This is an interesting non-fiction poetic book consisting of a collection of twenty poems on the author's life experiences and growing up in the 1960s. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review.Congrats on the BOTD selection.

I like the fact that the collection of poems also includes the one about adolescence, which is permeated with bodily changes and fears that every adolescent goes through. I like that the poems cover a range of topics from religion and gender discrimination, through hate crimes to sexism.

Nicky Corcoran tingle a sensation in me in her poem call ADOLESCENCE, growing up might really be difficult to the extent that one might grow with strained mental health... Thanks Nicky for this
