It's so sad what David and his family had to go through. It's also great bravery to be able to come out and tell the story.

Hey! Thank you so much for sharing this review! I have never felt so compelled to read a book before now. The topic of substance abuse and how it impacts everyone around a person is so important, and I look forward to reading the different interpretations and scenes in this story based on what you've described to me.

Addiction never affects the person who is an addict but the whole family. I think it is great that the author found a way to come up with grief by writing this book.

I'm sure this book is an emotional yet helpful read, and many readers would benefit from reading it. I can't imagine what Patricia, David, and other family members have gone through.

The real tragic story of a heroin addict seen from his mother's point of view. It offers an idea of what happens to people when they get addicted and to the people around them, first of all their family. Thank you for your great review!
