This book would help parents going through the same predicaments as Patricia did, and hopefully gives them a sense of solidarity. I personally would pass on this book for its emotional nature. Thanks for the review!

This book is great as it would most likely be written from the mind of someone battling addiction. Great review.

I sense a real life story and a beautiful one at that. I've been reading some emotional books recently and it's getting too much😂. The review is compelling. I hope to read this book when the time comes.

I like how much emotion the author weaved into the book itself because she writes about her late son David. It is interesting how the book is organized.

I can’t even begin to imagine how it has been like to this boy’s mother. Getting introduced to drugs because of an accident at the age of 15 sounds absolutely bizarre. Anyway, I think this is a good book for peer support, or for anyone who wants to understand how the life is for addicts and their families. Thank you for the thought-provoking review.

Sounds like a touching story. Certainly very helpful to persons struggling with addiction. I just feel like it requires a lot of emotional effort to read the book. I wouldn't read it but I agree that it would definitely be helpful to families struggling with the effects of addiction. Thanks for the review.

An insightful and unfiltered account of a boy who is caught up in addiction is nicely presented in the book "The Last Stop" by Patricia Street. I want to read this one.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Reading the sample made me live through the horrors of my own family trauma again. I lost a brother to addiction and I'm losing my mother to the same one. Reading this was like looking in a mirror, comforting but also painful. It gives a great perspective to both sides of the story and lets you know you're not alone in the struggle.

The author wants readers to learn from her successes and shortcomings as a parent of a child who abused drugs. She explores the vulnerability of an addict in this book. This book will leave you at the edge of your seat with its flawless editing and fascinating plot.

It’s sad that the author became addicted to opiates at such a young age, but I’m glad he’s able to tell his story from a much better place now. Inspiring.
