It's not easy to have a drug addict as a member of the family. The stress, the tension and the pressure. Despite all of that, Patricia still loved David and didn't give up on him. This book is interesting and the reviewer did a great review too. Congratulations on BOTD

What an emotional book. It would break any mother to see her son become an addict. The author sure is a strong woman.
I believe that great success is possible in any field - From music to mathematics to macro trading.

The Last Stop is a well-written book about drug addiction and how it impacts the abuser and his family. The experiences shared in this book are valuable and essential for understanding the problems of drug addiction.

Who's to blame for the use of drugs and other detrimental substances? One wise man said, "To cut down a tree, the best way is to uproot its roots." Drug addiction can best be fought by not using the drug. Though David got influenced by medicated drugs, such drugs should have been researched on the side effects.

It sounds like one of those novels that draws you deep in so much that you don't want to take a break until you're done. Drugs in our society have become a significant problem.
I never took drugs but I fear the pains of my personal experience will awaken when I'm reading this novel. We have to do something about this now. Great review and I loved the preview. thank you

The author has given us an invaluable gift by offering us a view of life from the lenses of her drug-addict son. There are not many other better ways to learn the ravages of narcotics.

Addiction not only affects the addict but their family and the entire community at large. I hope David's story will help others and console those who are going through the same thing. I hope his family finds peace as this is something you would not wish on your worst enemy. Congrats on BOTD.

And that’s how quickly it can happen, and your whole world changes! This is a parents worst nightmare, and something of great concern to all of us, so I think this book is worth a closer look. Many thanks for the review.

I would say that this book is impressive, relatable and a treasure of information suitable for parents, guardians and counselors. Reading the sample pages make me already drawn to this memoir. I couldnt't imagine how painful it is for a mother to see his son deteriorating from addiction. So brave for the author to write this memoir! Congrats Botd!
