A flowy poetry of introspection and social ills. The wind which brings the writer both unpleasant and pleasant surprises such as the smell of decay as well as the fresh smell after a rain. It also highlights social ills such as racial discord which often travel from generation to generation.

Firstly, I must commend the review. It is a very nicely written one. A collection of poems and sayings seems very nice and the book with its amazing cover looks good to own.

The Residue of Our Desires sounds like an enthralling book that compromises different poems. I love the themes the poem portrays. Congrats on the BOTD.

With this book, The Residue of Our Desires, I was able to identify and introspect the dormant thoughts that were weighing on my mind.

Congratulations on BOTD and thank you for such a self-expressive review. You explained the role that poems like these can fulfill in the lives of some people. This has reacquainted me with the importance of poetic expression. I admire Darcy Green for including bold contemporary topics. The retro book cover is a treat to see.

Poetry books has never sparked my interest. Even though I aknowledge their complexity and depth. I was never attracted by them. Great review though
